The whole group now knows that Lori is pregnant which drives their need to find suitable shelter as quickly as possible. They find an abandoned housing development that seems perfect. Or it would be if the entire place wasn’t occupied by walkers.

When I told a friend I was going to be watching Doctor Zhivago for this project, she said she’d never seen it because she believed it to be mostly about miserable Russians. Having watched it: it’s mostly about miserable Russians.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 made almost $92 million in its own opening weekend, so pretty much you already know whether you want to see this movie or not, and already have. I’m writing my review anyway for posterity.
First, I was a surprisingly huge fan of the first Amazing Spider-Man. It was basically a beat-for-beat remark of the other most recent Spider-Man franchise, only instead of annoying mopey Tobey Maguire you had charmingly frenetic Andrew Garfield. I know that that doesn’t work for some people (Josh Larsen of Filmspotting included) and that everyone agreed the reboot was unnecessary, but the twitchiness completely reflected my personal experience of high school. I was completely on board with Andrew Garfield as my official Spider-Man.
Fox has released the first full length trailer for Gotham and it looks fantastic. I’ve already made my anticipation for this series known and that enthusiasm remains unabated. It looks beautiful and there are plenty of directions for them to go in with the rich cast of characters that they’ve assembled. If Arrow is truly the example of how DC translates into television, then this show has the potential to more than live up to its promise. Continue reading
